The Mahindra Blues Festival is back with its 12th edition in the city. The festival is conducting the Band Hunt competition, and the selected participants will get the chance to showcase their skills to the popular musicians Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa.

Rhythmic moments
One of the most renowned Odissi dancers, Madhulita Mohapatra, along with her student, Sahana R Maiya, is collaborating with established Yakshagana artists, Guru Shri K Krishnamurthy Tunga and Chithkala K Tunga. The performance is part of the 7-day Fusion Music and Dance Festival organised by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (Bengaluru) and the Infosys Foundation. The fusion dance presents the traditional dance forms of Odissi and Yakshagana to retell the timeless saga of Savitri and Satyavan.

It’s story time
Ranga Shankara’s signature storytelling programme, Little Cloud, is back. Kids of 4 to 6 years of age can participate in these storytelling sessions held in multiple languages by multiple artists. Grown-ups are not allowed.
