Deepika Padukone attended the 2023 Academy Museum Gala held in LA. At the event, she joined the league of other Hollywood stars including Selena Gomez, Dua Lipa and Meryl Streep.

Deepika Padukone attended the Academy Museum Gala event which was held in Los Angeles on December 3. The event is the second-biggest stage worldwide after the Oscars, which is organised by the same board. Earlier this year, Deepika created history as she stepped on the stage at the Oscars to present the Indian song act. The actor joined the league of Hollywood stars including Selena Gomez, Dua Lipa and others who were also a part of the global event.

As we wrap up the year, Deepika Padukone continues to add feathers to her embellished cap. After the actor stepped on the stage to present the Indian song 'Naatu Naatu' act at the Oscars 2023, she attended another one of the biggest events of the year. The 'Pathaan' actor attended the 2023 Academy Museum Gala was held in Los Angeles, US. The red carpet had some amazing moments as some of the prominent stars posed for the photographers.

For the event, Padukone dazzled in a purple velvet gown and minimal jewellery. Before she headed to the red carpet, Deepika also took to Instagram Stories to share a bunch of pictures of her look for the night. A host of celebs such as Selena Gomez and Dua Lipa were also clicked posing for photographers on the star-studded red carpet. Joining them were Hollywood A-listers like Natalie Portman, Lupita Nyong'o, Ke Huy Quan and Meryl Streep among others.

For those unversed, the annual Academy Museum Gala aims to raise funds for the museum’s exhibitions and public programming. Other than raising funds, the event also honoured celebrities like Meryl Streep, Michael B Jordan, Oprah Winfrey, and Sofia Coppola for their contributions to cinema and storytelling.

ON THE WORK FRONT

Deepika Padukone was last seen in a cameo role in Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan'. She will soon be seen in Nag Ashwin's 'Kalki 2898 AD'. The film also features Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in pivotal roles. It will release in theatres sometime in 2024. Deepika also has 'Fighter', in which she will co-star with Hrithik Roshan. Apart from all these, the actor will also be seen in Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again'. The film has an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff and Ranveer Singh.
