BB 17 Day 80: Ankita Lokhande becomes new captain, Samarth and Mannara upset

The latest episode of 'Bigg Boss 17' was all about the captaincy task where the housemates competed to be the next captain. Ankita Lokhande won the captaincy task while Mannara Chopra and Samarth Jurel expressed disappointment from Munawar and Isha.

The latest episode of ‘Bigg Boss 17’ unfolded great drama over the captaincy task. While Ankita Lokhande won the task and became the new captain of the house, Mannara Chopra and Samarth Jurel were disappointed with the decision.

ANKITA LOKHANDE BECOMES NEW CAPTAIN

As per the captaincy task, ex-captains of the show, Munawar Faruqui, Isha Malviya and Aoora got the power to choose the new captain of the house. While Munawar was rooting for Ankita, Isha wanted Samarth to become the captain.

However, Munawar convinced Isha and they made Ankita the new captain. However, this decision left Mannara and Samarth disappointed. Samarth Jurel wanted to get a benefit as his girlfriend, Isha Malviya, was one of the ex-captains who had the power to make the decision.
However, after giving a word to Munawar, Isha had to remove Samarth from the race for captaincy.

BIGG BOSS TO DECIDE ABHISHEK’S PUNISHMENT

After Abhishek slapped Samarth in the previous episode, Bigg Boss called other housemates including Ankita Lokhande, Mannara Chopra, and Arun Mashettey into the confession room and asked them about their opinion on the incident. The trio mentioned how Abhishek gets aggressive in a fight and even instigates the opposite person.

However, later, Bigg Boss revealed how minutes before raising his hand on Jurel, the ‘Udaariyaan’ actor announced to the camera that he was being instigated and could get physical. He also mentioned that there have been a lot of rule breaks in the house this week, and the team will give their decision soon.
