The Sunday episode of ‘Bigg Boss 17' turned out to be quite a dramatic one as Aishwarya Sharma got evicted. The 'Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein' actor was ousted by co-housemate Isha Malviya, who used her powers as a captain during the elimination. Post her exit, Aishwarya spoke to IndiaToday.in about her journey and her fights with Ankita Lokhande. She also opened up about participating in the show with her husband Neil Bhatt and how their relationship had to pass the test of fire.

‘WHEN SALMAN KHAN CALLED ME OUT, IT MADE ME SIT UP’

Real-life couple Aishwarya Sharma and Neil Bhatt have had many issues throughout their tenure together at the ‘Bigg Boss 17’ house. They even indulged in ugly fights. Fans often pointed out how Aishwarya would often lose her cool at her husband, and even tagged her as a toxic partner. Many a time, host Salman Khan had to intervene to sort out their issues and show them the way.

Reacting to the same, now-evicted contestant, Aishwarya, shared that she feels proud about walking this far in their marriage. "I have improved a lot. I understand, I was at fault several times, and when Salman sir called me out, it made me sit up. I was embarrassed that everyone must have seen me this way on such a big platform. I was hurt but as I realised, I came out stronger," Aishwarya told IndiaToday.in.

‘DON'T LIKE BEING TOUCHED, THAT'S MANHANDLING FOR ME’

Recently, Aishwarya Sharma accused husband Neil Bhatt of 'manhandling' her during a fight. Aishwarya said that people judge every small thing, and she doesn't want to react to it. Shedding more light on it, she said, "When I am upset or irritated, I don't like being touched, that's manhandling for me. It was a normal reaction, I don't know why it was made into such a big issue. People who have followed my story with Neil or even follow us on social media would know that there is a lot of love and respect between us. It's easy to tag someone toxic based on a few incidents but there's a lot more about this relationship, this marriage."

‘BIGG BOSS 17 HELPED US EMERGE STRONGER’

Talking about entering the reality show with Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma said, "It was the right decision as it really helped us emerge stronger. I have imbibed patience and also understood the importance of keeping your opinions strongly ahead. I can see that change in me. However, I must also add that it was a disadvantage as a player as I was in my comfort zone with Neil. I knew I had support throughout, which may have affected my performance."

We asked Aishwarya, Neil's last words to her when she was leaving the house after her elimination. The actor smiled to say that while she asked him to emerge as the winner, he did give her a piece of career advice. "It happened very unexpectedly and we did not get much time. But he did ask me to take up work if I am offered a good show. He also shared that if I could wait for him then we would do something together."

Do you think Aishwarya’s eviction was fair?
