Lee Dong Wook & SHINee's Minho selected as global ambassadors for the Olympics

Actor Lee Dong Wook and SHINee member Minho have been selected as the first official 'Olympic™ Friends', the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced on December 1 KST. 

The 'Olympic™ Friends' program enlists the help of popular public figures in promoting the values of the Olympic Games. Previously, Lee Dong Wook took part in promoting the '2018 Pyeongchang Winter Games' and the '2018 Pyeongchang Winter Paralympics' as an official ambassador, also taking part in the '2018 Winter Paralympics' torch relay. Likewise, SHINee's Minho is known for endorsing various international, regional, and national sporting organizations and events.

As ''Olympic™ Friends', Lee Dong Wook and Minho will kick off promotional activities for the upcoming '2024 Gangwon Winter Youth Olympics' throughout the month of December, cheering on the dreams and aspirations of young athletes around the world. 

Meanwhile, the '2024 Gangwon Winter Youth Olympics' will be held from January 19 ~ February 1, 2024.
