The Oasis reunion is finally ON – with an official announcement expected to be made imminently.

It looks like Liam and Noel Gallagher have put their long-running feud behind them as they are set to headline Glastonbury next year and play a host of massive shows in London and Manchester.

Liam popped up to drop some hints on ‘X’ on Sunday. He said: "I never did like that word FORMER" on X, formerly Twitter, which is thought to refer to him often being labelled as the 'former Oasis singer'.

Then when someone else asked him about a possible reunion announcement, he added: "I think I have said enough." While these statements do more than tease at a reunion, other hints have been very subtle.

Months ago, hardcore Oasis fans became convinced a comeback was in the pipeline after spotting a Reserved for Noel Gallagher' sign at a Liam Gallagher gig on June 10.

During the sold-out UK tour, Liam belted out classics from Oasis' iconic debut album, Definitely Maybe, to celebrate its 30th anniversary. And this potentially made him feel all nostalgic!

During one of the evenings at the London O2 Arena, there was speculation that the feuding brothers could finally be heading towards a truce. A fan took to X (formerly Twitter ) to post a photo of his view, highlighting the seat reservation in front of him.

"I'm in a hospitality box at #LiamGallagher and I've just seen this on a seat in front of mine," the fan wrote, before adding that if Noel was there then he must have been "in disguise".

"OMG," exclaimed one hopeful fan on X. "Awwww how sweet," chimed in another. A third quipped: "Hope he doesn't look back at you in an angry fashion." And a fourth said: "You can probably move forward and sit in that seat yourself."

An even more sceptical fan then claimed on the post: "Liam leaves one at every show, in the hope that one day, one day, Noel will show up."
