The Emily in Paris season 4 part 2 trailer has arrived – here's when it's released on Netflix

Emily in Paris season 4 is back on Netflix after what feels like an eternity of waiting, and yet somehow we've already worked our way through all five episodes of part one. Oops.

Immaculate outfits, love triangles and attractive men are a given on Emily in Paris, but if you need a refresher then season 4 picks up from the dramatic last season finale in which Alfie ended his relationship with Emily after Camille dropped the truth bomb that Emily and Gabriel have always had a thing for one another. Oh, and Camille is pregnant with Gabriel's child. So yeah, there's a lot that we need answers to.

While the first instalment of Emily in Paris tied up a few of these loose ends, there's still a lot that we desperately need clarity on, and that's all before we've even seen Emily go to Rome or Mindy compete in Eurovision (obsessed with this storyline, btw).

So when is the Emily in Paris season 4 part 2 release date on Netflix? Here's everything we know so far, including what we can expect from part 2, given that the trailer has just dropped.

How many episodes are in Emily In Paris season 4?

Emily in Paris season 4 will feature 10 episodes, with each of the parts having five episodes.

Though in line with previous seasons which have had 10 episodes, this is the first season Netflix has been cruel enough to make us wait for the second part with a two-part release approach, not dissimilar to what they did for Bridgerton and Stranger Things.

We're sorry to report that we've got a little while to wait until we'll be getting more Emily in Paris goodness, with Emily in Paris season 4's release date on Netflix set to be September 12 at 8:00am BST (3:00am ET).

What will happen in Emily in Paris season 4 part 2?

Emily in Paris Season 4 part 2 will pick up from the ending of part one where Emily finally chooses Gabriel over Alfie. Camille and Sofia decide to end their relationship, and though Camille isn't pregnant (instead discovering it to be a false positive), she decides not to tell Gabriel because she doesn't want to hurt him or lose him as a friend.

We also learn that Marianne hasn't been a Michelin inspector for about a year after she was fired, meaning Gabriel's hopes of getting that Michelin star aren't looking great. That said, it brings some amount of relief in that he can afford to get rid of his pastry chef.

With the entire Agence Grateau back together again, in the next set of episodes we expect to see Sylvie having to deal with yet more stress from Louis de Leon who is scrambling to deal with the repercussions of the less than favourable news article she helped out with.

And that's all before we've even got to see Mindy and her band take to the stage for the Eurovision Song Contest.

From the new trailer, we can also expect to see a certain amount of relationship drama between her and Gabriel, with Emily travelling to Rome where she spends time with a potential new love interest, Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini).

“For once do something spontaneous and reckless and un-Emily,” urges bestie Mindy in the trailer. "Just have an adventure."

"So now you've been with a French guy, a British buy and now Italian? You're really stamping your passport, huh?" she adds.

As per Netflix's synopsis, “Emily and Gabriel’s chemistry is undeniable as they work together towards a Michelin star [for his restaurant], but two big secrets threaten to undo everything they’ve dreamed of. As old patterns clash with new complications, Emily feels drawn to a potential new love interest… and a new city.”

Mon Dieu! We're not sure we can bear to wait a whole month to find out what comes next.
