Newcastle set for huge two day festival with star DJS and music icons lined up
Newcastle will host a massive two day festival this weekend with an eclectic line-up of acts ready to entertain
by Simon Duke · ChronicleLiveThere are now just days to go until a huge two day music festival in Newcastle, with a huge line-up of acts, from superstar DJs to music legends, getting ready to entertain.
All systems were go on the LooseFest event at the Town Moor last summer, following a successful festival in 2022; before the appalling British weather stopped play and the event, set to feature the likes of Patrick Topping and Sean Paul, was called off at the last minute, leaving both its organisers and everyone who looking forward to going, absolutely gutted.
Not letting last year's blow get them down, LooseFest are back for 2024 and, thankfully this time round, the forecast is looking much more promising, as the Town Moor gets ready to host two days of live music. Local DJ Patrick is bringing his TrickFest event to the Moor on Saturday, August 2, fresh from providing a sun-drenched soundtrack to revellers in Ibiza. And then, on Sunday, August 3, there's a who who of pop icons as LooseFest ends in style with 90s Baby, headlined by Ronan Keating and also featuring stars like Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys, Five, Blue and Peter Andre.

As well as headliner Patrick, TrickFest will also feature another local favourite, DJ Schak, as well as Dom Dollar, Hannah Laing and John Summit and, excited to hit the decks, Schak said: "This is the biggest dance line up Newcastle has ever seen and I’m so honoured to be a part of it. Playing in my home city alongside some of the world's biggest DJ’s is a true privilege and I can’t wait to put on a show!”
Priced £67, remaining tickets for TrickFest can be bought HERE.
Other acts on the bill for 90s Baby on Sunday include Eternal, Atomic Kitten, Five, Samantha Mumba, A1, 911, and Blazin' Squad. There is also a dedicated Clubland stage featuring Sash, Ultrabeat, Flip N Fill Ft Karen Parry, N-Force, Kelly Llorenna, Ian Van Dahl, Big Ang Ft Siobhan, as well as an MC line-up of Keyes, Finchy, Tazo, and Stompin.
Tickets for 90s Baby are available to buy HERE, priced £53.20.
