Medics rush to BAFTA red carpet as MAFS star struggles in the heat
by Ruth Francis For Mailonline · Mail OnlineThe BAFTA's red carpet turned into a scene of concern on Sunday night as Married At First Sight's Ella Morgan grappled with the 25 degree heat.
Sporting a lace corset dress, Ella was seen slumped over towards the end of the carpet, causing alarm among her fellow stars.
Witnesses reported that Ella, surrounded by fans, press, and cameras, tried to maintain her composure but visibly struggled with the heat.
As she neared the end of the red carpet, she began to falter and made it clear to the people she was with that she was really hot before Channel 4 crew members and her MAFS co-stars rushed to her aid, providing support and created some shade.
A source told The Sun: 'Ella was hanging quite close to her Married at First Sight Co-stars and made it clear she was really hot.
'The cast and crew from Channel 4 grabbed hold of her and helped her stay on her feet before it was decided to call in the medics.
'An area was cleared at the end and BAFTA crews sent medics to assess Ella.'
Ella, who known for her groundbreaking appearance as the first transgender bride on MAFS in 2023, found herself embroiled in a tumultuous relationship with Nathaniel Valentino.
The TV star has spoken at length about her gender reassignment surgery and following cosmetic surgery since starring on MAFS.
She said that when she was '11 or 12' she realised she wanted to transition, saying: ‘I knew then I needed that surgery and I wanted to do it’.
She had her sex change when she was 21 at a NHS hospital in Brighton, where she also had breast reconstruction surgery.
Since then she has paid for a second breast enlargement and fillers in her face costing £50,000.
Describing her reasons to go under the knife so many times, she said: ‘You need to look feminine to pass as a woman otherwise people won’t take it seriously. I was under a lot of pressure to look good.
‘I needed to plump out my face. It was very skinny and gaunt. My body is how I imagined it.
'Part of me wants to go a bit more with the filler, bit more with the breast implants. That’s how I am. I am all or nothing.
Following her stint on MAFS, Ella made headlines again for her involvement with co-star JJ Slater, which led to their controversial exit from the series due to infidelity.
While JJ has moved on to a relationship with Katie Price, Ella remains open to love with recent reports revealing her participation in the reality series Celebs Go Dating.
