ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Assistant Professor Grade I:

Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of post-PhD teaching/research/professional experience (excluding experience gained during the PhD). Additionally, applicants should demonstrate research capabilities with publications in reputed journals, conferences, and patents.

SALARY: The minimum salary, as per the 7th CPC, is Rs 1,01,500, along with admissible allowances. After three years of satisfactory service, the candidate will move to Pay Level 13A1.

Assistant Professor Grade II:

Applicants with less than three years of post-PhD industrial/research/teaching experience are eligible for direct recruitment to the position of Assistant Professor Grade II.

SALARY: The minimum basic pay for this post is Rs 98,200, along with allowances. Upon satisfactory completion of three years of post-PhD experience, candidates will be considered for promotion to the position of Assistant Professor Grade I through internal assessment.

Candidates must not exceed 35 years of age. The institute retains the right to call for an interview only those applicants shortlisted based on qualification, experience, research, publication records, and individual academic unit requirements. Mere eligibility does not guarantee an interview call.
