Sensex, Nifty hit record highs as bull run continues on Dalal Street

The S&P BSE Sensex rose 0.44 per cent to an all-time high of 69,168.53, while the NSE Nifty 50 gained 0.59 per cent to trade at 20,808.90 points.

Benchmark stock market indices opened at record highs for the second consecutive session, backed by strong macroeconomic data, increased hopes of US rate cut in March 2024 and the Bharatiya Janata Party’s big victories in the recently held assembly elections.

The S&P BSE Sensex rose 0.44 per cent to an all-time high of 69,168.53, while the NSE Nifty 50 gained 0.59 per cent to trade at 20,808.90 points.
