Gondek's approval rating continues to slide, now at 30 per cent: poll

Voter support for Calgary Mayor Jyoti Gondek continues to decline and has now reached historically low levels, a new poll suggests.

Gondek, halfway into a four-year mandate, scored only 30 per cent approval in the latest ThinkHQ survey of city voters, compared with 61 disapproval, a marked decline from June. Forty-three per cent of respondents said they “strongly disapprove” of the mayor, with only seven per cent giving her “strong” approval.
