Nothing to Seibs here: Broncos say Anthony’s our man... but they’ll hold a review anyway

· Fox Sports

Anthony Seibold will be subjected to a review the Broncos board agreed after the club’s AGM took place on Tuesday.

But Seibold, who has won just three of Brisbane’s first ten games this season, remains the clubs coach and will not be sacked according to chairman Karl Morris.

Last Friday’s loss to the Tigers was a new low and has the Broncos staring at missing finals football.

Morris has said the club would place Seibold under a review at the end of the season as happens with all staff.

But Channel 7 Queensland reporter Chris Garry claimed on Twitter that this review was much more substantial.

“The board would like to be clear in respect of ongoing speculation on Anthony’s tenure at the Broncos. He is, and he will remain, our coach,” Morris said.

“The CEO made it clear that every employee at the Broncos has their performance reviewed at the end of each season, in line with stringent performance management.
