Detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of a musician have charged one man and arrested a second.

Colton Bryan, 22, suffered stab wounds during an attack in Guinness Close, Redditch on Wednesday last week (July 15).

He tragically died from stab wounds in his flat in front of his girlfriend and a neighbour, who tried to save him.

A man, in his 20s and from Redditch, was arrested today (July 21) at 12.30pm on suspicion of murder.

He remains in police custody.

Another man, Adam Carpenter, from Wharrington Hill, Redditch, was arrested in Weston-super-Mare at around 3am on Saturday, July 18.

The 20-year-old was brought to Kidderminster Police Station and was charged with conspiring to commit robbery.

He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates Court tomorrow, July 22.

While the investigation continues there will be an increased presence of officers in area.
