Gardai investigating the death of two women at a homeless centre in Dublin

Gardai have launched an investigation after two women were found dead in Dublin at a homeless centre within just hours of each other.

It has been reported that the body of a woman in her thirties was discovered at Abigail Women's Centre in Finglas yesterday morning.

The body of a second woman, in her twenties, was then discovered at around 10:30 am in the same centre.

Gardai said the Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene and a file will be prepared for the coroner’s court in both cases.

Both bodies have been removed from the scene and transported to the city morgue.

Gardai have confirmed that no foul play is suspected in either case.
