Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise has shocked the entire nation. The 34-year-old actor died by suicide on June 14 at his Bandra residence. Since then, his fans and Bollywood celebrities like Shekhar Suman, Kangana Ranaut, Rhea Chakraborty and others have been demanding for a CBI inquiry since they feel Sushant didn’t die by suicide.

Though the Mumbai Police is currently investigating the case and has interrogated a lot of people for the same but his fans are still asking for a CBI inquiry.

Yesterday, thousands of people came together for a peaceful digital protest on Twitter. It was held to request the CBI inquiry into the case. #Candles4SSR was joined by Ankita Lokhande, Kangana, Shekhar, Mukesh Chhabra and others. Everyone lit a candle to show their support towards the protest. Now, Shekhar Suman, who is actively looking into Sushant’s case, has taken to his Twitter handle to speak about the support. Post the protest, he wrote, “You can literally feel that the entire world is now joining hands with us in the movement #justiceforSushantforum we all started. The positive forces are coming together to create a tsunami which will engulf the entire nation in time to come.#CBIEnquiryForSSR”

He further wrote, “We cannot grudge if Sushant's family is not coming forward. we should respect their personal space. we shld not even get into the reasons behind it. we should just follow our hearts. nothing else matters. except Sushant and only Sushant #CBIEnquiryForSSR”

Earlier, he had tweeted that by the time CBI takes over the case, the evidence will be tampered or cleaned up. His tweet read, “I think by the time they hand over the case to the CBI, if at all they do, like it happens in the movies or crime novels, all the evidences will be either tampered with, removed or cleaned up and CBI will have nothing to look into. Sad! #justiceforsushanthforum”
