Kanye West's presidential running mate has told DailyMail.com the embattled rapper is doing 'great' and insisted his string of Twitter rants are 'nothing to worry about'.

Biblical life coach and dental worker Michelle Tidball, 57, of Cody, Wyoming, was named by West as his Vice-Presidential pick earlier this month, and was spotted outside the dental practice where she works on Wednesday afternoon.

The night before, West blasted out a series of tweets accusing his wife Kim Kardashian of having an affair with rapper Meek Mill and saying he wanted a divorce. He also called his mother-in-law Kris Jenner 'Kris Jong-Un' in a reference to the North Korean dictator.

West suffers from bipolar disorder and is currently thought to be in the throes of an episode of mental illness.

But Tidball, who holds controversial views on mental illness including that it can be cured with chores, insisted to DailyMail.com the 43-year-old is 'fine'.

Tidball said of the rapper: 'He's great. He's really great. There's nothing to worry about. He really is just fine.'

Tears and confusion as Kanye holds rambling campaign event

Asked if she intends to continue with her tilt for Vice President, Tidball refused to be drawn on her plans but said she would be releasing a statement soon.

She said: 'I can't comment on that [the run for office] right now. I'm going to be making a statement very soon.'

Tidball, who has no history of elected office, was revealed as West's running mate earlier this month.

West, who announced his plans to run for president on July 4, has been staying at his 4,000-acre ranch just outside the tiny Wyoming town since Sunday.

Tidball appears to have met West in Cody and shares his pro-life views, which he aired during his rally in South Carolina on Sunday.

Along with working at Taylor Dental, she runs a website called Life Center Coach and offers coaching sessions on a range of topics, including relationships, handling divorce, careers and spiritual needs.

According to her website, she is 'a certified professional coach' and holds a master's degree in addiction psychology from the University of Wyoming.

In her bio, she writes: 'For over 10 years I have been assisting numerous individuals in shifting their lives towards their desired direction, while encouraging them to realize their potential.'

Kanye breaks down revealing how daughter North was almost aborted

In 2017, she recorded a podcast for her now defunct website Yarash.com in which she appeared to suggest mental illness can be cured with chores.

In the audio, which was obtained by TMZ, she says: 'If you would get up every day and make your bed and do your dishes – you would be better.'

She also claimed that in her 10 years of working with the mentally ill, none made their beds or did the dishes.

Concerns for West's mental health were sparked by his rally in Charleston, South Carolina on Sunday.

During the event, he burst into tears as he told how he and wife Kim Kardashian, 39, had considered aborting their eldest daughter North, now seven.

Along with comparing his mother-in-law to Kim Jong-Un and threatening to divorce Kim, recent Twitter rants have also included accusations that Kim and Kris are trying to get him locked up.

He said he wanted Kris and 'that calmye' [sic] – thought to mean her boyfriend Corey Gamble – nowhere near his children and claimed the Kardashian matriarch is refusing to take his calls.

He has also released a succession of cryptic messages insisting that none of his children will appear in Playboy magazine – unlike their mother, who has.

During the rally on Sunday, he made a rambling speech in which he burst into tears and talked about how eldest daughter North was almost aborted before claiming he saved her life.

West said: 'In the Bible, it says, 'Thou shall not kill.' I remember that my girlfriend called me screaming and crying, and I was just thinking — because at that time I was a rapper I was out there, [had] different girlfriends and everything — and she said, 'I'm pregnant.' And I said, 'Yes!' And then I said, 'Uh oh.'

'She was crying… and for one month and two months and three months, we talked about her not having this child. She had the pills in her hand.'

He then claimed that a vision from God led to them going ahead with the pregnancy. West said: 'I'm in the apartment where my wife was actually robbed, and I have my laptop up and I have all of my creative ideas, I've got my shoes, I've got my next song cover… and the screen went black and white.

'And God said, 'If you f*** with my vision I'm gonna f*** with yours.' And I called my wife and she said, 'We're gonna have this baby,' and I said 'We're gonna have this child.'

Kim, who is reportedly 'devastated' by his comments, eventually released a statement on Wednesday morning, asking for understanding for West and acknowledging his mental illness.

In it, she said her family is 'powerless' to help the 'brilliant but complicated' rapper as he struggles with bipolar disorder.

The reality star also said 'his words sometimes do not align with his intentions' following West's claims he has been 'trying to get divorced' from Kim since she met Meek Mill at a hotel.

She said: 'I understand Kanye is subject to criticism because he is a public figure and his actions at times can cause strong opinions and emotions.

'He is a brilliant but complicated person who on top of the pressures of being an artist and a black man, who experienced the painful loss of his mother, and has to deal with the pressure and isolation that is heightened by his bipolar disorder.

Kanye West shows how to register to vote amid presidential bid

What Kanye has said since joining the 2020 presidential race

July 4: Kanye West announces he is running for president, declaring that 'we must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future'.

West receives early backing from his wife Kim Kardashian and from SpaceX supremo Elon Musk. However, there is much skepticism about whether he genuinely intends to run.

July 8: Forbes publishes an interview with Kanye in which he says he has never voted before, wants to model his presidency on the fictional country of Wakanda in the movie Black Panther, and no longer supports Donald Trump after previously appearing in the Oval Office with a Make America Great Again hat.

West also says he was ill with Covid-19 in February and is sceptical of developing vaccines against it, and suggests that Musk should be head of America's space program.

July 14: West scores two per cent in a poll of the presidential race, with 56 per cent of respondents believing that the rapper is not serious about running for president.

July 15: Kanye appears to take a further step towards running for president, as a filing with the Federal Election Commission shows the establishment of a Kanye 2020 campaign committee under the banner of the Birthday Party or BDY. West says the name is chosen because 'when we win, it's everybody's birthday'.

July 18: Kanye urges his supporters to sign a petition to get him on the ballot in South Carolina. Two days later, state officials say the deadline has passed and that that West did not submit the required paperwork in time. However, he is listed on the ballot in Oklahoma.

July 19: West holds a campaign rally in South Carolina, wearing a bullet-proof jacket marked 'security' and with '2020' shaved into his head. In a rambling speech, he reveals that he and Kim had considered aborting their daughter North and sparks outrage by claiming that abolitionist Harriet Tubman 'never actually freed the slaves'.

July 20: In a series of tweets, Kanye claims that Kim Kardashian is trying to have him locked up on medical grounds, compares himself to Nelson Mandela and suggests the movie Get Out was about him.

The tweets spark further concern for his well-being, but Elon Musk says that 'we talked about an hour ago' and that Kanye 'seems fine'.

July 21: Kanye claims he has been 'trying to get divorced' since Kim Kardashian allegedly met rapper Meek Mill to talk about prison reform at the Waldorf Hotel. He also calls his mother-in-law Kris Jenner 'Kris Jong-Un' and accuses the pair of 'white supremacy' in another freewheeling series of tweets. Most of his tweets are quickly deleted.

Earlier in the day, he had hinted he could postpone his presidential run until 2024 after saying 'I guess all black people supposed to vote for Biden'. He also heaped praise on comedian Dave Chappelle for visiting him at his Wyoming ranch.
