Perrie Edwards full of pride as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain lifts Premier League cup

by · Metro

Perrie Edwards couldn’t contain her pride as she watched boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain lift the Premier League trophy with Liverpool.

Although the team were named champions on 25 June, they were finally handed the cup at Anfield on Wednesday, following a 5-3 win over Chelsea.

And the Little Mix favourite, 27, was thrilled for her beau as she watched the game unfold on screen.

Taking to her Instagram story, she shared a snap of Alex to celebrate his goal on the night, alongside the message: ‘Getttt innnnnn ma babeh!!!’

The Holiday singer then posted a video of the moment the 26-year-old lifted the trophy for the first time, alongside teammates Mo Salah, Virgil Van Dijk and Jordan Henderson.

To hammer home the point even more, We Are The Champions played out in the background of her story.

Something tells us she’s a little more than excited by the win…

Supporters were not allowed inside the stadium over safety measures – however plenty of fans gathered outside the stadium to celebrate, despite being advised not to.

Quarantine nights 🖤 @alexoxchamberlain

The couple have been dating since around 2016, and have been inseparable of late, thanks to lockdown measures.

And the X Factor winner revealed she has been having the ‘time of her life’ with the England ace.

In a recent chat with KIIS’s Kyle and Jackie O, she confessed: ‘I feel like I’m really enjoying this, I can’t lie. I’m having the time of my life!

‘I’ve never spent so much time with my boyfriend, I’ve never spent so much time in my house.

‘Like, I’ve never had just so much time on my hands to do stuff that I’ve always wanted to do, so it has been nice.

‘I’m losing track of what day it is, what month it is, what time it is. I feel like any time is good for a glass of wine, because I don’t know what time it is!’

Fair play.
