'Each day I wake up I pray it will get better. Then, I think of my daughter and the pain she is going through as she was a doting mother. Ben's father, Danny, who is completely lost, as Ben was his only son.

'Riley, so loving and so close to him; Harper and Finley, who absolutely adored Ben. Navarone, who struggles deeply with loss and death. Rest In Peace Ben, you were loved,' the statement concluded.

In Priscilla's statement, she makes reference to her daughter Lisa Marie Presley, 52, Benjamin's father Danny Keough, 55, and his siblings, Riley Keough, 31, and twins Finley and Harper, 11.

Also mentioned is Benjamin's uncle Navarone Garibaldi, 33, Priscilla's son from her past relationship with Marco Garibaldi.

Lisa Marie's manager previously said: '(Lisa) is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter Riley. She adored that boy. He was the love of her life.'

Benjamin was the son of Lisa Marie - only child of superstar Elvis - and musician Danny Keough. Lisa Marie had previously spoken of Benjamin's similarity to Elvis, calling their resemblance 'uncanny'.

Meanwhile, DailyMail.com has revealed how Elvis Presley's grandson Benjamin fatally shot himself at a party for his girlfriend and brother-in-law's joint birthday.

Neighbors heard Benjamin partying at his mother Lisa Marie Presley's $1.8 million Calabasas, California, home late on Saturday July 12 - his girlfriend Diana Pinto's birthday - before hearing a woman believed to be Pinto screaming 'don't do it' in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The tragic news comes as his girlfriend Diana posted a loving, heartbroken tribute to her late boyfriend of more than four years, on Instagram on Sunday.

Diana wrote 'I don’t know how I’m supposed to do this life without you' and that she now knows 'the true meaning of grief'.

One of her posts from July 12 two years ago reveals the bereaved girlfriend shares a birthday with Bejamin's brother-in-law Ben Smith-Petersen, 29, the Australian stuntman husband of his pop singer sister Riley Keough.
