Crime Branch to probe the incident of youth found dead after forest officials taken him in to custody

The Crime Branch take over the investigation in to the incident of a youth being found dead in a well after he was caught by the forest officials. The investigation team spearheaded by Narcotic cell DYSP Pradeepkumar has been appointed  to  have probed the case.

The case handed over to crime branch after the relatives alleged  that the Mathayi  was tortured mortally and his body was thrown in to the well.  His family alleged Mathayi to have taken in to Custody by violating the custody rules.

The forest officials said Mathayi fell in to the well on his frantic run to escape from the forest officials. His relatives said,  as a person who can swim well, Mathayi would  have not died by falling in to the well  and there was 10- feet water in the well  which was enough for a person to swim. The family expressed untruest over the probe which is conducted by the forest department. The postmortem report of  Mathayi is yet to get.
