A spokesperson for South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture said: “We apologise in advance for any inconvenience these works will cause to visitors to the park.”

Sign posts will be put in place to advise road users of these works, and the required road closures.

Park users are advised to plan their journey to arrive from ten to 15 minutes earlier to account for delays in entering the park.
