England's Ben Stokes on Tuesday dethroned Jason Holder to become the number one all-rounder in the Test format after his firey performance against West Indies in the second Test.
Stokes had produced a match-winning performance against West Indies in the second Test to give England a 113-run win.
2. IPL governing council to meet in 7-10 days to discuss tournament schedule: Brijesh Patel
The governing council chairman of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Brijesh Patel, on Tuesday (July 21) announced that a meeting would be taking place in the next 7-10 days to discuss the scheduling of the tournament.
Patel also confirmed that the Board of Cricket in Control for India (BCCI) will be seeking permission from the government to go ahead with IPL 2020.

The chief executive of Cricket Australia (CA), Nick Hockley, has announced that Team India cricketers and staff will most likely be asked to undergo two weeks of quarantine before the four-match Test series.

Archer was dropped from the squad after it emerged he had made an unauthorised visit to his home in Brighton after leaving Southampton. Ashley Giles, the managing director of England men's cricket said the breach "could have been a disaster" which cost English cricket "tens of millions of pounds".
