UFC on ESPN 14 video: See Antonio Rogerio Nogueira’s Top Five finishes ahead of Shogun Rua trilogy fight on Fight Island

Antonio Rogerio Nogueira has already stated that win, lose or draw against Mauricio Rua at UFC on ESPN 14 this Sat. night (July 25, 2020), he will be retiring from actively competing in the sport of mixed martial arts (MMA).

“Lil Nog” has been fighting professionally for nearly 20 years now and has racked up numerous impressive wins and finishes while competing under both the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and PRIDE FC banners. So to honor his career, UFC has put together a Top 5 list of his most impressive finishes.

Without further ado, here are “Lil Nog’s” best knockouts and submissions:

5. Knockout of Luis Cane at UFC 106.
4. Armbar submission over Dan Henderson at PRIDE: Total Elimination 2005
3. Knockout of Sam Alvey at UFC Fight Night 137 (see it again here).
2. Knockout of Tito Ortiz at UFC 140 (recap).
1. Knockout of Patrick Cummins at UFC 198.

Of course, Nogueira would love nothing more than to end his career on a high note and with another finish. More importantly, he desperately wants to get a win over “Shogun,” who defeated him in their first two encounters, once in 2005 in PRIDE and then 10 years later at UFC 190.

Anyone think the third time will be the charm for the Brazilian legend?
