Microsoft releases new in-engine screenshot for Halo: Infinite

by · DSOGaming

Microsoft has just released a brand new in-engine screenshot for Halo: Infinite. This in-engine screenshot showcases Halo (the ring itself) as well as Master Chief. Furthermore, the official Twitter account has also released an animated version of it.

Halo: Infinite will be using a new engine, the Slipspace Engine. As 343 Industries noted, the engine is developed with PC in mind. Moreover, the team aims to treat PC gamers as first-class citizens. It’s also worth noting that the first in-engine trailer for Halo: Infinite, that came out in 2019, was running on the PC.

Halo Infinite continues the story of the Master Chief as the third chapter of the Reclaimer Saga. This is a direct sequel to Halo 5: Guardian, which unfortunately never came out on the PC. For what it’s worth, Microsoft still has no plans to bring the single-player campaign of Halo 5 on the PC. Thus, let’s hope that the game will have a recap intro or video.

Microsoft and 343 Industries will reveal the first gameplay trailer for Halo: Infinite tomorrow. This will happen during Microsoft’s Xbox Series X first-party games event.

If you can’t wait until then, you can check out this recent teaser clip.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
