Unidentified person dies in isolation centre in Mancherial

Mancherial: An unidentified person, believed to be Covid-19 patient, died while being treated at an isolation centre in Bellampalli on Sunday night. None of his relatives or friends came forward to claim the body.

Mancherial Inspector ML Muthi Lingaiah said that the suspect breathed his last in the isolation centre. He got himself admitted to the centre on Saturday. He stated that a photograph of the body was shared on various social media platforms. People are requested to share details including identity and nativity of the person if they know him, he said.

The Inspector informed that final rites of the unidentified patient would be performed by revenue officials as per protocol if his relatives or friends approach them. He advised the public to call 94407 95042 or 90594 70888 to share any information they have about the deceased person.
