'Unexplained' death of baby boy in Aberdeen investigated by police

An investigation has been launched into the "unexplained" death of a one-month-old baby in Aberdeen.

Police Scotland said officers received a report of the boy being unwell at a property in Tollohill Square at around 6.55am on Saturday.

The baby was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where he died a short time later.

A force spokesperson said: "The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing."
