Shanelle Crowe sentenced for manslaughter in death of Trinity Squirrel

One of three people charged in connection with the death of 22-year-old Trinity Squirrel in Saskatoon last spring has been sentenced for her role in the homicide.

Shanelle Crowe, 22, pleaded guilty in February to manslaughter. She was sentenced on Tuesday to four years in prison after Judge Doug Agnew accepted a joint submission from the Crown and defence.
