Priyanka Juneja, a travel blogger, warned: "You definitely don't want to make these mistakes when planning a trip to Greece. [First] if you can, you want to avoid travelling to Greece during peak season because it's going to be really crowded and you're less likely to find hotel deals."

"Don't make the mistake of only travelling to Santorini or Mykonos for example [...] there is a lot to discover," she ruled, warning of her second tip. In a final tip, she said: "Don't sleep on Athens, it's a freaking cool city and a lot of people just skip it and go straight to Greek islands.

"And I think that's a huge mistake." She added: "I’ve been to Greece five times now, and I swear I fall more in love every visit. On our last trip to Greece, we decided to check out the island of Paros and I’m so thankful that we did because it quickly became one of my favorite Cycladic Islands.

"Here’s how I recommend you spend 3 days in Paros! Day 1: Explore Naoussa. Wander through picturesque streets. Grab a beer at Paros Microbrewery. Watch a breathtaking sunset from the bridge back in Naoussa. Enjoy dinner at Minoa and try Loukoumades for dessert

"Day 2: Road Trip to Lefkes + Faragas Beach. Stroll through serene alleys at Lefkes. Treat yourself at Stratis Bakery. Hike the historic Byzantine road. Unwind at Faragas Beach. Enjoy the best dinner at Yemeni. Day 3: Experience Parikia: Discover the vibrant port town of Parikia. Sample craft beers at Hops and Colors. Capture another glorious sunset. Savor your final dinner on the island.Extra Tip: If you have more time, consider a day trip to Antiparos!
