Here is how Villa fans have reacted on social media to the news...
Emma: Unai Emery lifelong contract, confirmed.
John Mulrine: As long as Spain don’t come in, I can see him retiring at Villa.
Holte End Horizon: This is why I laugh when other fans say Unai won’t stick around long term, the owners have literally bought a club for his family while he’s been given the keys to Aston Villa, this is a revolution.
danielhavfc: We really have gone all in on Emery and I couldn't be happier!
Adam Shaw: The club that Unai has a controlling stake in… he’s with us for the long term!
The AVFC faithful: Unai is STAYING. He LOVES the club.
J.AVFC: The Emery family. Our owners are unbelievable.
One Aston Villa: Fantastic news which I would also suggest solidifies Unai's intentions to be around for the long haul.
