Dad of Nardo Wick fan savagely knocked out by his entourage blasts Florida rapper for refusing to cooperate with cops

The father of a young man who was brutally beaten by members of Nardo Wick’s entourage earlier this week slammed the Florida rapper for refusing to cooperate and provide authorities with the names of the assailants.

George Obregon Jr., 20, was left in critical but stable condition after members of Wick’s posse attacked him when he approached the group following a concert in Tampa Monday in hopes of snapping a photo with his “favorite artist.”

After Obregon approached Wick, whose real name is Horace Walls III, he was knocked unconscious by a member of the rapper’s entourage before a second member of the group pummeled him into the ground, disturbing social media footage showed.

“Wick has not spoken to us. What he should do is collaborate with police because those men were with him, they came out of the place together,” the injured fan’s father, George Obregon Sr., told the Daily Mail on Wednesday.

“We don’t know the suspect’s name because the rapper has not identified them. [Wick] is not talking. He does not want to cooperate,” he added.

While his son, who had VIP tickets to the Monday night gig, has shown signs of improvement, Obregon Sr. couldn’t share further details on his condition because his family is now taking legal action against Wick.

The chaotic beating has left the entire family in shambles, according to the distraught dad, who noted he has not even been able to watch the full video of the now-viral assault.

“I can’t even finish watching the video, I want to watch it frame by frame to see what happened but my body just can’t … it’s such a great abuse, I just can’t comprehend it.”

Obregon Sr. described his son as “an authentic guy” with many friends who loved to listen to Wick’s music so much he even had photos of his “favorite artist” plastered up in his bedroom.

“He loved this rapper — he has his pictures in his room, imagine how we feel! The photo is still in his room and I just want to rip it,” he added.

The young fan’s friend and witness in the beating, Connor Villa, told TMZ that he had been walking toward Wick with his phone up and asked for a picture when a member of Wick’s posse punched him from the side.

Wick has since reached out to the Obregons, the 21-year-old rapper said in a statement Tuesday. 

“I don’t condone what happened to my fan George after my show in any type of way,” he said.

“I expressed to him and his mama how sorry and concerned I was that it happened to him, multiple times before anything was even posted or on the internet.”

The rapper, known for his 2021 hit “Who Want Smoke?,” condemned his entourage’s attack and said he “can’t control another grown man actions.”

“I sent his mama my number instantly the night it happened,” Wick added. “I was even gone make a post to try and find out who he was before his mama text me. I can’t control another grown man (sic) actions, I ain’t know that was gone happen, and I was mad when it happened. 

“I tried to stop it as u can see in the video, and if somebody got the longer video you can see how mad I was, I love and appreciate all my fans and don’t condone in what happened at all dat s–t aint gangsta or cool in no type of way.”

Tampa police asked for assistance in identifying the two suspects.

Representatives for Wick said the two suspects are “not his security nor are the individuals directly connected to Nardo.”
