Police appeal as 'high-value' Mercedes stolen in early hours burglary
Residents are being urged to check their CCTV and doorbell cameras
by Ashlie Blakey · Manchester Evening NewsPolice have issued an appeal for information after a 'high-value' Mercedes was stolen in a burglary in Prestwich.
The car was stolen in the Simister Lane area last Friday (January 12). Officers believe it was taken between 3am and 5.20am.
The suspects are believed to have been riding on electric bikes. Police are now urging local residents to check their CCTV and doorbell cameras.

Anyone with information should contact Greater Manchester Police. A post on the GMP Bury North Facebook page this afternoon said: "#APPEAL | Officers from the Neighbourhood Crime Team are investigating a burglary that occurred on the 12/01/2024 in the Simister Lane area of Prestwich.
"It is believed that the burglary occurred between 03:00 & 05:20 and the offenders are believed to have travelled on electric bikes. A high value Mercedes was stolen on this occasion.
"Officers would like to ask local residents who may have CCTV, Ring doorbell or dash cam footage to check their cameras for any suspicious activity around this time. Footage can be emailed directly to PC Hubbard at 18009@gmp.police.uk or you can contact the team on 0161 8568222."
