The Rivers State Police Command has arrested 13 policemen for indecent dressing.

Olatunji Disu, the state Commissioner of Police, said this during a live programme organised by the Force Public Relations Department on a radio station in Port Harcourt.

The officers were arrested during patrol operations conducted by the Monitoring Unit across the state.

“The heads of the Divisions where these policemen serve would also be held vicariously liable for their subordinates’ actions.

“The 13 arrested officers have been detained pending further investigation,” he said.

While addressing the tragic killing of the late Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ahoada Police Division, SP Bako Angbashim, by suspected Iceland cult members, reportedly led by Gift David, also known as 2Baba, Disu assured the public that the case would not be overlooked.
