Three teenagers killed and two injured after car crashes with bus

by Cathy Owen, Toby Codd · BristolLiveThree teenagers have died following a serious crash between a car and a bus. Two others are in hospital with life-threatening injuries after the crash in Wales.
The collision took place in Elwyn Street, in Coedely, at around 7pm yesterday (December 11). It has since been confirmed that two 18-year-olds and one 19-year-old died at the scene.
According to Wales Online, another two men, aged 18 and 19, were rushed to hospital. They remain at the University Hospital of Wales, in Cardiff, with life-threatening injuries.

Superintendent Esyr Jones of South Wales Police said: “Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragic incident. Trained family liaison officers are supporting the families at what must be an extremely difficult time for them.”
Officers are keen to hear from witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage of the collision. You should contact police and quote reference 2300420639 if you have information.
Alex Davies-Jones, MP for Pontypridd, said: "Utterly devastating news coming from our community this morning. All of my thoughts are with the families and loved ones affected by this tragedy.
