The episode of Anupamaa starts with Anu (Rupali Ganguly) inviting Shruti, Anuj (Gaurav Khanna), and Aadhya to the re-inauguration of Spice N Chutney. While Aadhya refuses to go, Shruti and Anuj agree to come to the function. Everyone reaches Spice N Chutney. Anu's happiness knows no bounds as she sees that Spice N Chutney is finally theirs, and now everyone will once again work in the restaurant. Media comes and interviews Anu where she credits how it's not just her hard work but right from Yashdeep to Biji, everyone is credible for the success. Anuj spots the ring which Yashdeep is going to use while proposing to Anu. Yashdeep tells Anuj that she loves Anu and will indeed express his feelings soon. Although hurt, Anuj accepts that he has no right on Anu.

As Shruti and Anuj are about to leave, they come towards Anu to congratulate her. Anuj tells a small poem to Anu, which basically means how now he is her past and she is all set for new beginnings, hinting at Yashdeep's proposal to Anu. Yashdeep then tells Anuj and Shruti that they can't leave without having a special sweet dish made by Anu. The sweet dish, which Anu made, is actually Anuj's favorite, and when they were married, Anu used to make sure that Anuj doesn't have more than one due to the high sugar content in the sweet. As Anuj takes four to five pieces, Anu firmly tells him to keep down the sweets and how having so many sweets can ruin his health. Shruti is taken aback to see how Anu still has an unsaid right on Anuj. It would be interesting to see how the makers will unfold the story in the upcoming episodes.
