by Pooja Darade · BollywoodLife.comTwo weeks after dropping an intense teaser trailer, Alia Bhatt's Jigra trailer is now out. It is one of the biggest releases of October 2024. Directed by Vasan Bala, the thriller drama also stars Vedang Raina in the lead role. It is Vedang's first theatrical release and second movie after Netflix's The Archies. From the teaser earlier, we got a hint of how Alia would go to any lengths to protect her brother. She's ready to fight without worrying about anything, as her brother is her only family.
The Jigra trailer is also filled with such emotional and powerful moments. We see Satya's (Alia) brother Ankur (Vedang) get embroiled in a drug-related case, away from her in a foreign land. Satya has only three months to save her brother. As we know, they're orphans and only have each other. When the relatives also show no sign of hope, Satya takes it on herself to protect her brother's life. We see her fighting every big danger that comes her way, with no fear in her eyes. The love for her brother turns Satya into a beast who would not stop at anything.
Alia Bhatt is in full action mode and all set to deliver another remarkable performance. She's amazing when it comes to playing emotionally driven characters and Satya seems like another impactful one. Vedang Raina, who was praised for his performance as Reggie in The Archies, looks promising too. The audience is looking forward to seeing him deliver another standout performance.
