Fire in Auckland multi-story apartment block

Fire broke out on in the 17th floor of a central Auckland apartment block on Monday morning.

The fire in the Victoria Street building triggered multiple alarms.

A FENZ spokesperson said abound eight fire trucks were called to the blaze just before 8am.

The fire was put out quickly, but the building had to be ventilated.
