Police are asking to speak to two men in relation to an assault which occurred in Newton Abbot town centre

The incident happened around 3.15am on Sunday, June 25 in the Golden Square area in Newton Abbot town centre. Police officers would like to speak to two men as part of their investigation into the assault.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police has said: “Police investigating a report of an assault have released a picture of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

“It happened at approximately 3.15am on Sunday 25 June in the Golden Square area of Newton Abbot town centre. It was reported that there was an altercation involving four men. A 19-year-old man sustained cuts to his face and head, which required hospital treatment.
“Police investigating the incident would like to identify the men pictured as they believe they may be able to assist with their enquiries.
