Four arrests as murder investigation launched following man's death in Bishop Auckland
Four people have been arrested after a 41-year-old man was pronounced dead outside a home on Wednesday night
by Sophie Brownson · ChronicleLiveA murder investigation has been launched following the death of a man outside a home in Bishop Auckland.
Emergency services were called to West Lane at around 6pm on Wednesday, November 29 and found a 41-year-old man unresponsive. Sadly, despite medical treatment, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three men and one woman, all in their 40s, have been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in police custody. Enquiries are ongoing to determine the circumstances of the death.

A police presence will remain at several addresses in the town while enquiries are carried out. Durham Constabulary detectives have said that there is not believed to be any wider risk to the community.
