Sir Tom Jones announced as headline act at music concert in shadow of Stirling Castle

Music legend Sir Tom Jones will experience the green green grass of Stirling next summer as he headlines a concert in the shadow of Stirling Castle.

Sir Tom is taking to the stage as part of the newly-expanded Summer Sessions festival.

He is heading back out on the road in summer 2024 with a series of outdoor shows including a date at Stirling Summer Sessions at Stirling City Park on June 30 next year.

A Summer Sessions spokesperson said: “Sir Tom continues to sustain his popularity around the world, captivating audiences with his timeless discography of hit songs and enduring talent and charisma.

“With a remarkable career spanning more than six decades, he is widely considered to be one of the greatest singers and recording artists of all time, selling more than 100 million records and continuing as an esteemed and influential figure in the music industry.

“Stirling Summer Sessions will take place at the foot of the historic Stirling Castle at Stirling City Park. Stirling is known for the attraction of its historic castle, its proven track record of successfully hosting major events and big crowds, and the city’s central location provides excellent transport links, being within an hour’s travel time for 50 per cent of Scotland’s population.”
